Devices whose output is a switching state triggered by magnetic field polarity. Split into latching, dual-channel and omnipolar / unipolar types by output channel and trigger mode — for BLDC commutation, speed and direction detection, and lid / door position sensing.
The output only changes state when the field polarity switches from N to S, so the state latches — a stable switch for BLDC commutation and speed / direction detection.

One latching device delivers two channels of magnetic information — speed + speed or speed + direction — for speed and direction sensing, encoder disk detection and actuator travel feedback.

Omnipolar types trigger on either the N or S pole and accept any magnet orientation; unipolar types respond only to a specified pole. Used for lid open/close, access control and position detection.
